this one is probably the best one i did, i reversed the colours on photoshop and then edited the contrast so that it came out clearer

nd2 art work: chimera

for our digital art and design module we were asked to make a chimera out of aeveral animals on photoshop. over three weeks we learbt techniques that we used in the third week to make our finished picture

here is the finished project;

here is an earlier attemp during the first week. it is much more rough around the edges but i was quite satisfied in it at this point :)

6 months ! :)

today has been one of the happiest days of my life. these six months have been the greatest time of my life, kira, and i just feel so happy. just being with you gives me a warm happy feel inside, and when we hug it feels like nothing can hurt me. you have made my life a dream, being able to sit and hold you in my arms is a blessing, you are my soulmate, my rock and my dream, you are everything i have ever wanted in life and could ever need, i love you so so so much beyond anything i can say, i want to be with you forever and always, because i love you too much to lose you, i will protect you and love you forever, i will cherish every moment we spend together, i would do anything to see you smile, to see you happy, because you are my soulmate, and i love you more than anything in the world, my beautiful, wonderful angel xxxxxxxxxx

intro

so i guess i should introduce myself
im glynn (i hate the name by the way), 21 years old and im studying art and design at suffolk new college.

thats me and my girlfriend kira. shes the best thing thts ever happened to me. weve been together for 6 months tomorrow, and its been the best time of my life. this girl saved me when i was feeling so so low.

but anyway, im interested in a lot of things. i like drawing a lot, pretty much anything actually. i enjoy photoshop, photography, digital art and design, painting, and 2d design.

im a huge anime and manga fan (something that brought me and my gf togetehr among other things :p) and i like to draw loads of manga stuff. if i see something i like, i will just draw it to the best i can really. i also like comic book art, itd be great to make a graphic novel one day.

i also do a lot of writing, i write scripts and shrot stories, but tend not to finish them. a lot of my drawings come into this, and ill gradually start to put the pictures up as i make them, and maybe even a bit of my stories if youre lucky

so yeah,
i'll try adn update regularly and try to add as much as i can when i do update, so hopefully there will be lots of stuff to come

so weve been told to start a blog for part of our art and design course at college

i guess this is a good excuse to show off some of my artwork online, get some feedback and stuff.
i will gradually post more and more stuff, just be patient and do give feedback, it would be much appreciated
